However they are allowing hedging and they also allow small account sizes.  There are also minor problems related to the market news and because of which the market also swings; however, you cannot say that you never make money with them.  There are many that have reported of having made substantial money with them.

The rest of the loss cannot be blamed on the FXCM broker because everyone that is in to Forex is losing and making money.  You cannot expect to be making money and losing nothing just because you are trading with the broker.  All loss is not within the control of the broker it is rather dependent on the trade proceedings.  The execution is pretty fast with a reasonable spread, there are exceptions though.  Never go by the news it can land up to be a mess most of the time.

Never invest your money thinking that you are a know all and blame the company when you loose.  Making and losing is there with every kind of broker.  If you are diligent you can really do trade with FXCM.  They are regulated and therefore you can vouch on them for it, but time and again the news is really a mess.  Never trade the news!
